Overall, I highly recommend this book. So now he owns it. When you change for a person, you start a vicious cycle of discontent. I felt she was justified and right to feel like she was portrayed to. Thatch Halloway is at the peak of his career. But when needed, he was the sweetest and so caring towards our heroine, he won me over and he did so quickly.
Do I condone some of the actions, definitely not, but it made for hilarious reading none the less. But my favorite part was the ending. But it also oddly made me think - of the fact there's always more to the story. You will fall in love with Austin she is so down to earth. I just love her writing style that whenever I started reading it, I'm sure I'll be hooked and get to enjoy every moment. That's all fairly unreasonable and immature to me. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
When she started this series, I was so curious that I cannot wait to read the first one, much more when it created a buzz. I'm a tax preparer who loves to read. A history that is mixed with love and hurt. With three interconnected swimming pools. I couldn't put it down, and that's saying a lot since it's been a week since I've been able to finish a book! If you have an issue with a total manwhore who has a schedule for a different woman in his bed Monday to Saturday, you will not like this book. Who understood the sacrifice it took for something to work—and were willing to make it.
Trust that this book will make you laugh, will make you fall in love, and will make you happy you read it. When you get to read it, you'll understand completely where Thatch is coming from. Cheater is a complicated story that had me laughing out loud, wanting to throw my Kindle out the window, and wanting to strangle Lucas Thorne more times than I could count. So what happens when Thatch and Austin are reunited? Thatch is determined to keep Austin at arms length while working with her and Austin is determined to make him regret letting her go. I mean I learned to like her, but it's all about the first impressions. All the ways she did which made her flawed is just so perfect for her. Thatch - can I have him?? Plus Cheater's Regret is such a fast paced book.
What I did get however was cliche and cheesy. And suddenly being forced to work with him is pretty much a nightmare on steroids. It didn't flow well, and what I think was supposed to be a twist just wasn't believable. Until one night, a hot, blue-eyed, surfer looking guy showed her how it feels to be the center of one's attention. Before I say anything, let me just explain that I'm really not big on reading about cheating partners or love triangles. And the ending was the perfect cherry on top! And let's talk about the heat factor! It is never personal towards the author, publishing house, or editor —it is just my personal reading experience.
My eyes focused on his mouth. I will admit, I'll read anything that Rachel Van Dyken releases, but the title of this book made me think twice about the immediate one-click, but in the back of my head I knew she wouldn't do her readers like that, so I had to trust her, and boy am I glad I did. The scenes in his office, while a little predictable that it was going to go that way, were fun. Rachel wrote a great romance story with the perfect amount of humor and drama added in to keep things lively. Ela até rasga os pneus do carro dele e rouba as roupas dele no vestiário do trabalho dele.
Dare I say, I loved Thatch and Austin even more than I loved Lucas and Avery Bug! How could he not feel the same? Especially from reading book 1. Jump right into the banter, the humor and that chase! Rachel knows just how to take a fun simple rom com and hook m e fast and make my heart become instantly attached. You want to be friends with these characters. All in all, Lucy's performance was awesome. She is furious he cheated on her and wants to know why? I was utterly defeated and deflated. Nosso herói continua rejeitando ela mas logo nós descobrimos que existem motivos ocultos para este comportamento. Plus her name kept throwing me.
